Married with Children
In October an Egyptian cleric wrote a new constitution which allows 9 year old girls to be married, and have sexual relations at the age of 14. So it comes as no surprise that a 90 year old Saudi recently married a 15 year old girl. I'll bet he had a hard time getting an engagement ring in a childs size. It's rumored they held the wedding at Gymboree, and the reception at Chuck E. Cheese. For a tradional dowry the old geezer paid 65,000 Saudi dollars for his bride. Anyone with a shred of moral decency would classify this as child prostitution, but apparently the stone age inhabitants of the Middle East consider it legal. The poor girl locked herself in the bedroom for two days to avoid his advances. Now the husband wants his money back for non performance, but I think a bullet in the head is more appropriate for the Walking Dead.
Consumate the marriage, then consume the bride.
Arab Spring
The only spring I'm concerned with in the Middle East is the oil oozing out of the ground. The notion that true democracy is flowering in the desert is about as preposterous as planting a garden of thorns and thistles. It's useless except to the mindless dim wits who write for the mainstream media. Who is defending the freedom for women, gays, and religious diversity? This movements only purpose is to substitute one hygienically deficient despot for another. Maybe they should try Irish Spring instead.
