The Name Game
Do you remember "global warming?" It is now called "climate change." How about the word "war?" Now it's been re-branded "kinetic military action." Recently there has been talk of the Obamacare "exchange". This is a place where you are dragged kicking and screaming and forced to purchase health insurance if you don't have any. In addition the vendors are puppets controlled by bureaucrats who offer no consumer choice in the amounts or types of coverage. Well it is now called a "marketplace." I seem to remember that word describes a place where you could haggle with sellers like Abdul the tent maker and get a great deal on a two camel garage. Sounds bazaar doesn't it? Anyway I don't give a crap if Al Qaeda changes their name to the Jehovah's Witness I still won't answer the door when they knock.
Welcome to the Obamacare "marketplace" everything is the same price, and one size fits all.
The Trojan War
A Georgia law student recently told Capital Hill policy makers that health insurance should cover contraception because "her peers are going broke buying birth control". I can sympathize with those who can't afford a condom, except when they are attending a top ten ivy league university. These pitifully poor female students claim it costs them $1,000. a year to have sex. Have they ever considered asking the scumbags they are having sex with to provide a condom? In my day dinner and a movie were the minimum requirements, and even then getting to first base was harder than getting a hit off Yankee pitcher Mariano Rivera. Even the raunchy comedian Andrew Dice Clay was willing to splurge a few bucks before he used his date as a "Plastic Phuck Doll". Apparently these students allow themselves to be treated like sperm banks, and their depositors aren't considerate enough to drop a couple of shekels for a few millimeters of latex. Even the Greeks gave their enemies the Spartans a Trojan for goodness sake! Leave it to a lawyer to screw innocent people by forcing them to pay for her to have sex.

Chicago deep dish
If you're a city worker in Chicago your dish will not be as deep if Mayor Rahm Emanuel has his way. He wants city employees to lose weight, cut down on fats, and sugars, and exercise or else they will pay a $50. a month penalty toward their health premium*. His reasoning is "You can't ask the taxpayers to pay for a healthcare problem that you can manage and do a good job". Consider this, if you are a crack addict you do not need to take a blood test to get welfare, if you are an alcoholic your SSI benefits are not in jeopardy if you don't give up drinking, the obese don't have to diet to continue to get food stamps, and Medicaid recipients can't have their benefits canceled if they have poor lifestyle choices. Does this knucklehead not know that taxpayers pay for these programs as well? So an obese, cigarette smoking, drunken, crack whore is off the hook. Meanwhile taxpayers who pay for their own health insurance, and pay for those who can't afford it will be forced to carry a even bigger load.
